Penn State alumni golf outing scheduled

GREENTOWN - The Wayne/Pike Penn State Alumni Chapter will be hosting its 12th Annual Golf Outing on Tuesday July 18, at Paupack Hills Golf & Country Club on Lake Wallenpaupack in Greentown, Pa. The format will be a four-person scramble. The cost for the tournament is $110 per player. The price includes green and cart fees, lunch, dinner and prizes. Specials on course prizes include: a car, available for Hole-in-One prizes and a chance to win tickets to a Penn State football game. Play will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m. and dinner will follow the completion of golf. Proceeds from this event help support the scholarship fund that is awarded annually to students from Wayne County and Pike County who are attending any of the Penn State campuses.
