WESTFALL - The second home match for the DV Warrior wrestlers ended in a disappointing loss to Abington Heights on Wednesday, Jan. 11. Roman Crescimanno, Hank Conklin, Dan Kennedy, Joe Kennedy, Artie Knauer, Phil Luciani, and Kurtis Kimble won their individual matches. Artie Knauer, sophomore, had the only pin for Delaware Valley. The 28-36 defeat marked the third loss of the season leaving the Warriors with an overall record of 14-3. Head coach, Chris Ross, explained that “ we started the season losing eight starters, only sux returning guys, and the young guys are really coming through for us and pulling through in the clutch.” Ross added that “we need our six veterans to win and like tonight we had some young guys step up and either come up big with a victory or not give up the bonus points that Abington needed.”
