Warriors hire new basketball coach

WESTFALL - Delaware Valley graduate, Kris Holtzer is returning to Delaware Valley to coach the Warrior’s Boys Varsity Basketball team. Holtzer played for Delaware Valley from 1995-99 and is the career-scoring leader with 1,474 points. He also had an excellent career at Lock Haven University, scoring 1,152 points and he was a two time PSAC All-Star. He spent the last three years as an Assistant Coach at Lock Haven. He will also be a Health and Physical Education teacher working in both DDES and DVHS. Holtzer takes over a Warrior program that managed just eight wins this past year. Delaware Valley graduate, Scott Neilson will take over as assistant Boys Basketball coach. Scott also is a Warrior standout in the 1990’s and he played college basketball at Muhlenberg College. In addition, two returning assistants will be Bart Clementoni, a Misericorda College standout and Athletic Director, Al Holtzer.
