Spreading the substance abuse word along

DINGMAN – Recently, Delaware Valley High School Students Against Substance Abuse (SASA) spent a morning at Dingman Delaware Elementary School discussing the dangers of substance abuse with the 4th and 5th graders. SASA members talked with the elementary students about other alternatives and made sure that they grasped the facts by playing review games such as Hangman, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Family Feud, Jeopardy and more. SASA students spend considerable time researching material and developing activities. The elementary teachers were pleased about the experience and the students plan to continue this activity in the future. SASA members include: Kyra Bounds, Kristin Fehr, Ashlee Herzek, Dan Salinas, Amber Cheras, Lauren Ashworth, Heather Bowman, Miranda Featherman, Katie Featerman, Marissa Dubee, Alyssa Barbaro, Kellsey Charity, Chynamarie Colon, Brielle Felo, Pat Hines, Erin Morrison, Jessica Johanson, Brittany Kralik, Alishia Weidner, Will Foster, Jackie Massey, Lauren Merikas, Chrissie Wolf, Regina Reese, Jeremy Reinhardt, Jeffrey Schultz, Tiphany Garcia and Kim Eaton.
