    • State police are looking to file criminal mischief charges against the person or persons who broke vehicle and structure windows at Saw Kill Estates in Lehman Township on October 31, between 4:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. in the morning. A side window was smashed and a tire slashed on Winanda Milhaly’s Mazda Protege, and two windows in two vehicles belonging to William A. Roe were smashed. At the Saw Kill Estates Real Estate office, two rear windows were smashed with blunt object. • Also in the early morning on October 31, a car stereo and amplifier were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at the home of Patricia Hughes in Gold Key Estates in Dingman Township. • Between October 27 and October 31 someone smashed the front glass door at the home Mary Healey in Sunrise Lakes in Dingman Township. Police ask that anyone with information about any the above incidents contact Trooper Pascolini at 570-226-5718. • State police are beginning holiday road checks. Sometime over the next two weeks, members of state police Troop R will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint at an undisclosed location in Pike County. The checkpoint will target driving while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. A police statement said that checkpoints have proven to be valuable tools in apprehending and deterring people from driving under the influence.
