Storm ravaged trees damage Green Acres homes

Michele Scabet is pictured Tuesday watching workmen remove a tree which fell on her roof at the Green Acres trailer park near Milford. “When I first saw the tree on my house, I screamed,” she said. An eight year resident, Scabet arrived home on Sunday to find her house damaged by a severe storm that passed through the area Saturday evening. Help arrived Tuesday as the tree was cut into pieces and taken off of her roof. A split tree also collapsed on the porch of the nearby trailer home of Sheila Rahfield. No injuries were reported.
