Students deliver their portfolios

WESTFALL Delaware Valley Elementary School students deliver a portfolio that they continue to build upon throughout their elementary school years, from kindergarten through sixth grade. Included in their portfolios are such things as handwriting samples, stories, artwork, a videotape and an audio tape which are added to each year, and other treasures accumulated in their daily classroom adventures. Students have a longtime tradition of spending a little time with their new teachers, in their new classrooms, on the last day of each school year. This tradition gives them a chance to meet their teacher, their soon-to-be new classmates, and have an idea of what to expect when they return to school after the summer.
