Shohola – The Teens Against Tobacco Use (T.A.T.U.) students at the Delaware Valley High School visited Shohola Elementary School on Apr. 4. They presented their anti-tobacco messages to grades two through six. The elementary students were taught about the health risks of secondhand smoke, chewing tobacco and cigarettes through role playing, games, skits and songs. The T.A.T.U. students provide role models for the elementary students of the school district. Each year, the elementary students become more and more educated about the dangers of tobacco use and exposure. Members of T.A.T.U. hope that their message will prevent the younger children from ever starting this addictive and unhealthy habit.
