PORT JERVIS - The Delaware Valley High School Junior Historians were busy spreading holiday cheer at the Port Jervis Salvation Army on Dec. 22. The doors opened at 9 a.m. when a line of people began entering the army center. Each person, pre-assessed for need, was given a bag of food, a bag of presents for his or her children, and, of course, a holiday turkey. The thirteen representatives from the Junior Historians at Delaware Valley High School, led by history teacher Tom Burns, aided in the program distribution.
