Port Jervis, N.Y, — Bon Secours Community Hospital Foundation hosted its most successful Sunset and Wines event on Aug. 17 at Westfall Farms Winery in Montague, N.J. Success was in the bag this year, as the foundation debuted an addition to the event; the Beautiful Bag Bonanza, an auction of designer purses. Over 200 attendees enjoyed the afternoon of wine tasting combined with cuisine from area restaurants and caterers. The event helped the hospital foundation raise $33,440 to benefit the Wound Care Center and Diabetic Education program. “This local event surpassed all of our expectations and we could not be happier with the support we received from our employees, volunteers, vendors and the community,” said Lisa Randazzo, the foundation’s director. “The Foundation Board is thrilled with the outcome and our ability to provide enhancements to the Wound Care Center and the Diabetic Education Program. The hospital’s Foundation Board is on to planning their next event, the Harvest Ball, slated for Nov. 22 at Catlin Gardens.
