Susan Schor for school director

    WESTFALL - Susan Schor has been a resident of the Delaware Valley School District for the past 16 years. She has been married to David Schor for 21 years. They have three children. Michael is 20 years old and attending his 2nd year at West Chester University PA. Dan is 14 years old a freshman at D.V. Bryan is 11 years old in the 6th grade at Shohola Elementary School. Susan’s greatest pleasure is spending time with her family. Currently Susan is a Realtor at Midlantic Realty in Milford. She has been the Top Producer for 2005 & 2006. Previously she worked as a Marketing Development Specialist at Becker Business Systems in Newburgh N.Y. for 8 years. From 1987 to 1992 she was a waitress at the Best Western Inn at Hunts Landing. From 1995 to 1998 Susan worked as a Volunteer In Services To America. This program helped support Survivors Resources awareness programs for women children and men of domestic violence. She also facilitated a self esteem group session at Delaware Valley Middle School. When her VISTA work was completed Susan and her family continued facilitating a holiday gift drive with the Survivors Resources Organization through 2005. The past 15 years Susan has continued to volunteer raising money and developing sponsorships for several youth programs as well as high school sports programs. As a member of Shohola PTA Susan chaired several committees from 1992 until 2002. When her children began attending three different DV schools she then began attending school board meetings. Susan was recently selected by the school board to be on the tax study commission. The Delaware Valley School District has grown at an astronomical rate. Keeping taxes under control and continuing to provide and improve the quality of education for all students in a safe and healthy environment is a difficult task. Susan’s knowledge, dedication, integrity & honesty with the ability to work well with others make her an excellent candidate for Delaware Valley School District School Board.
