SHohola - Driving down Twin Lakes Road, one can see a brand new marquis sign in front of the Shohola Elementary School. Thanks to the generous Shohola P.T.A., the school was able to select a sign that will display important messages and dates to the community. The sign has an educational design theme of a notebook and pencil. Parents of the students donated their time and resources to help with the installation. Steve Ficken of Ficken Masonry poured the foundation to hold the sign. John Sheehan of Affordable Landscape and Lawncare performed all of excavating and digging for the wiring of the sign. Frank Navaro, a school district employee, performed the hardwiring and installation to illuminate the sign. The school is appreciative of everyone who helped with the installation of the new sign.
