The Kiesendahl's set the pace in Pike
HAWLEY It’s cold outside but the mercury is rising at the United Way donation thermometer. On Tuesday Dec 18, Bob Kiesendahl set the pace for the campaign and helped raise the mercury with a check in the amount of $5,000 on behalf of his family, Woodloch Pines Resort and The Boat House Restaurant. President Christine Obser of United Way accepted the donation. “I support the mission of the United Way, and I know how important it is to be able to fund human service agencies in Pike County and to enrich the lives of community members. I am glad that we are able to make this contribution to support the needs of the Pike County community.” said Kiesendahl, who is also a very active United Way Board Member. “We are very grateful to Bob Kiesendahl and his family for their generous contribution. Bob is a wonderful person who really shows caring and support, and we can’t thank him and his family enough.” Christine commented. The Kiesendahl family will be hosting United Way’s 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on May 12, 2008. The event will be at Woodloch Springs Golf Club, so mark your calendar and come out and play with us!” said Catherine Capasso of the United Way.
