The problem is getting to the other side

The Twin Lakes Road (state Route 1005) over the Shohola Creek in Shohola Township has been closed for replacement of the bridge since early spring, with traffic detoured to state Route 434 and Knealing Road. Leeward Construction is doing the $1.7 million project. Project Manager Brian Daniels said Wednesday,”We have concrete work to do and then we need to take care of the roads leading up to the bridge, but the contract deadline of Sept. 14 will not be met, it looks more like the bridge will be finished by the end of September.”
