Three charged as N.J. fugitives
PORT JERVIS, N.Y. City Police and New Jersey State Police on May 27 charged three persons allegedly involved in an earlier break-in in New Jersey. Arrested on Pennsylvania Avenue, in Port Jervis were Nicholas Mann, age 28 of Port Jervis, Heather Martin, age 20 of Port Jervis, and Christina Peck, age 29, of Milford. Police charged them with the felony crime of being Fugitives from Justice, stemming from an incident which occurred approximately 40 minutes earlier in bordering Montague, N.J., where the suspects allegedly attempted to forcibly break into an occupied dwelling. The defendants were taken to Port Jervis Police headquarters where they were arraigned in City Court and remanded to Orange County Jail pending a extradition to the State of New Jersey.
