Vascular surgeon joins Newton Memorial

NEWTON, N.J. — Newton Memorial Hospital is proud to announce that Dr. Mazen Itani, an accomplished Vascular Surgeon, recently joined the Newton Memorial Hospital medical staff. Dr. Itani, who is Board Certified in both General Surgery and Vascular Surgery, is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society, a Fellow of the American College of Surgery and a member of the American College of Phlebotomy. He has contributed to and authored several publications in the medical field and has given medical presentations on vascular surgery across the U.S. and in Mexico. Licensed in New Jersey, Massachusetts and Florida, Dr. Itani holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Beirut. He completed a Residency in General Surgery at SUNY-Downstate in Brooklyn, N.Y., and a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester.
