MATAMORAS — On Friday, May 8, after more than a year of work, the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department launched its new Web site. The design, consistent with the department’s vision to being more technologically enhanced, features vastly improved navigation, most requested forms, and an informative news and events section. It is the department’s goal to work with our citizens in an effort to make department information more readily available to the public. The Eastern Pike Regional Police Department Web site was designed by local web designer, Scott Norman of N Designs Company, Inc. (www.ndesignsco.com) Members of the department met with Scott for the design and input criteria. The site contains a substantial amount of content. It showcases the work of our Police Officers, and Civilian Staff and highlights key news and events from around Westfall Township and Matamoras Borough. Community and informational links appear on the site to allow for browsing information amongst our municipalities. Over the next 12 months, the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department will be working to enhance the interactivity of the site by offering new features, such as interactive crime mapping of the towns, improve the site’s overall usability in design, and provide the public with new and usable information as it changes. The Eastern Pike Regional Police Department Web site can be accessed on the World Wide Web at http://www.eprpd.org .
