Wayne Bank donates $15G to Pike County Public Library programs

Honesdale — Bill Kerstetter, Vice President of Wayne Bank is pleased to announce a donation to the Pike County Public Library in the amount of $15,000.00. “Wayne Bank is extremely pleased to be able to make this donation to the Pike County Public Library which will benefit children and adults throughout the County”, said Mr. Kerstetter. The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, provides tax credits to businesses who contribute to state-approved organizations via the guidelines set forth by the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit program. This enabled Wayne Bank to make the gift to the Pike County Public Library, which is a qualifying local nonprofit organization. Wayne Bank is a subsidiary of Norwood Financial Corp. and operates twelve branches located in Wayne, Pike and Monroe Counties. As of Sept. 30, total assets were $472.9 million with loans receivable of $328.6 million, total deposits of $367.6 million and stockholders’ equity of $54.7 million.
