The $4 platform has come and gone in the far regions of Pike County. Transportation charges to haul fuel near the New York border at Shohola have prompted the prices at the Midtown Service Center in Shohola. According to U.S. Energy Department the average price for regular gas was at $3.937 on Memorial Day. The average price has climbed about $.60 since the first week of April. (Photo by David Hulse)
