    WESTFALL — Recently Delaware Valley Middle School conducted a Career Day for 8th graders. The event was planned and directed by Gerard Geoffroy, guidance counselor for the middle school. Students could attend three sessions out of forty two that were presented. Many presentations included several different careers. Presenters offered an overview of their career and incorporated unique personal experiences into their session. This afforded the students the opportunity to see a multifaceted view of a career. Additional career research will be pursued through a Career Program in their Social Studies classes. Career information was provided by the following guest speakers: Chris Edwards, actor & firefighter; Don Flynn, architect; Greg Zukowski, artist and graphic artist; Jeremy Ruby, General Manager for the Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankees, athletics; Mike Dobrzyn, automotive; Christopher King, business management; Dan Parent, cartoonist; Ray Wehner, chef; Pam Lutfy, child care; Dr. Newmark & Gail Mills, chiropractor; Kevin Lennon, computer technology; Dr. Seth Horn, dentist; Mark Toussaint and Dr. Clair Kenny, electrician/construction; Jim Farr, engineer; Daniel Banks, environmental conservation; Barbara DeVries, fashion design; Karl Merchant, federal jobs; Chris Jones, journalism; Doug Jacobs, Esq., lawyer; Sgt.
