WESTFALL — Recently Delaware Valley Middle School conducted a Career Day for 8th graders. The event was planned and directed by Gerard Geoffroy, guidance counselor for the middle school. Students could attend three sessions out of forty two that were presented. Many presentations included several different careers. Presenters offered an overview of their career and incorporated unique personal experiences into their session. This afforded the students the opportunity to see a multifaceted view of a career. Additional career research will be pursued through a Career Program in their Social Studies classes.
