Winter coat drive underway

MILFORD — Each season of the year brings different kinds of needs, and with the winter months approaching, the United Way has once again teamed up with Wachovia’s Valerie Seitz and Bushkill Outreach’s Kate Newman for the fifth annual winter coat drive. Winter coats and clothes are being collected between now and Nov. 15. These items will be taken to The Bushkill Outreach center after Nov. 15 to be distributed to Pike County residents who need them. “We do this coat drive every year because it is something that really helps members of our community. I love doing it for that reason alone,” stated Valerie Seitz, financial specialist at Wachovia. Coats can be dropped off at any of these five Wachovia branches: Milford, Dingmans Ferry, Greater Lake Region, Matamoras, and Lords Valley. For more information, contact Valerie Seitz at 570-296-5616.
