Wordmaster crowned at DV

The Delaware Valley High School recently held its annual sophomore class Word War. Students competed on knowledge of spelling, parts of speech, definitions, synonyms, and antonyms. This year’s winner was sophomore Kathryn Braisted, daughter of Patty and Jeff Braisted of Shohola. The runner-up for the competition was Tricia Forgit, daughter of Christine and Steven Forgit of Dingman’s Ferry.
