Every day is earth day

To the editor: As the snow melts, hopefully for good, spring shows it’s beauty all around us in the beautiful area in which we live. Unfortunately every year more & more trash appears on our country roadsides. When our eyes should be directed to the spring flowers, beautiful birds and an occasional baby fawn it is marred by all the roadside trash. Please think twice if you are tempted to litter and let’s work together to keep our environment clean. Bring a plastic bag along when you talk a walk and fill it with some trash. Organize a neighborhood cleanup and role-model earth friendly behavior to our youth. Perhaps if everyone pitches in, tomorrow will show promise for a cleaner community. Terry E. Balton Milford
