A great night for Democrats

To the Editor:
Wow. What a night!

Three Supreme Court Justices were elected in the same night for the first time in our commonwealth’s history — and thanks to (voters') hard work, Democrats won all three seats.

But we didn’t stop there — Democrats won both seats for the Superior and Commonwealth Courts, and county and municipal offices across the state.

Pennsylvanians made it clear that they want a government that works — just like they did when they elected Tom Wolf as Governor last year. It’s time for the Republicans in Harrisburg to stop playing political games and pass a sensible budget.

Thank you for helping Democrats bring home a big victory last night, but now it’s time to get back to work: We have a White House to keep, a second United States Senator to elect, and a state legislature to take back.
