Ask about 'questionable activities' at next Woodlands meeting

Dear Woodlands Homeowners:
If you are not aware of the recent "questionable activities" of the board of directors, you should be! Please, come to the next meeting scheduled for July 18 at he clubhouse at 7 p.m.
Five Woodlands staff members fired on the same day with NO explanation for this to any of them!
Two board members (president and vice president) resigned at the April meeting, and some of you may ask why? Well, this was after many weeks of badgering by a private homeowner, and then embarrassing a fellow board member to the point of having them kicked off the board. It would have been one thing if this was done in a closed session/behind closed doors! And there are other reasons for the president and vice president resigning!
Rumors of money supposedly "missing," and this after seven years of audits being done AND might I add our former president insisting that an annual audit be done from now on. This was made into a motion and passed!
Until the last two months we had approximately 12 people in our security department, and at last count we have four. We "advertise" security around the clock! The Aspen Gate was manned 80-90 percent of the time and now is almost never manned. This was very important to past administrations and seems to have fallen to the wayside. Aspen Road is a very unique situation in that it connects Milford to Dingmans Ferry. It is a very busy road and now with almost no coverage the road is even more heavily traveled. At last month's meeting there were numerous complaints of the heavy traffic/speeding vehicles.
Talk at the meeting of more training for our security staff was interesting to say the least. The training that is being proposed is at a cost of approximately $830 a person and for a six-month period. More training is fine, but please. You need to come out and hear more.
Certain board members "hand picking" board members/residents to fill the vacancies because all the alternates who we usually go to have been used up.
Our community lawyer at every meeting — and at what expense?
Now I know I will be ridiculed for "airing dirty laundry" in the newspaper. However, most residents are happy in the Woodlands and are not aware of the dissension and the unfair/cruel practices that have been going on. I have only listed a few! Please, come to the next meeting. Believe me... quite a few of us are concerned, and we are asking homeowners to have a voice and get involved.
