Happy Birthday NPS!

To the Editor:
The National Park Service will be turning 100 on Thursday, and everyone is invited to join in the birthday celebration. Visitors will be offered free admission from Aug. 25 to Aug. 28 to all of our national parks and are encouraged to learn about the history, take a hike, or even go for a bike ride.
PA-10’s Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River offers a multitude of water activities. The nation’s oldest existing wire cable suspension bridge, majestic eagles and the home of author Zane Grey are some the river valley's sights.
Our national parks are a treasure that all Americans should have the opportunity to enjoy. In total there are 412 park units, 23 scenic and national historic trails and 60 wild and scenic rivers, including the Upper Delaware right here in PA-10.
