PA court throws out congressional boundaries

To the Editor:
What a relief to finally see some good news about the immoral and likely illegal gerrymandering that Republicans have been conducting across our country for years. For a party led by a dishonorable man who was going to claim the elections were rigged if he lost, this is hopefully the first of many nails in the GOP's coffin come November 2018. Gerrymandering is an unfair and not-so-subtly racist attempt to get the conservative GOP elected at the high cost of fair elections in which all eligible voters have a voice. I applaud the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for its decision to finally stop Republicans from "clearly, plainly and palpably" (their words) violating the state's constitution. We can only hope other states follow our lead.
