To the Editor:
Congratulations to all the sponsors and creators of the "Hollywood on the Delaware." Yes the film industry is growing strong in our area. Thank you to all who are bringing another opportunity to share the history of filmmaking here in Milford and surrounding areas.
Our area has a strong legacy and heritage of filmmaking. We at Black Bear Film Festival (BBFF) are a part of this celebration of our historical heritage.
We are also making history in the future of our communities' filmmaking legacy.
As the schools partnership liaison, I am so excited about the success of our partnership of five local schools in the tristate area. We presented 10 students shorts at a packed film salon this past BBFF. We received three commercials from Delaware Valley High School that were promoted on social media.
We are creating history at BBFF with our future film makers and the beginning of a very successful schools partnership. We are also offering educational opportunities in filmmaking and acting with our ongoing programs through the year.
We will be offering a script-to-screen workshop at the Milford Library from 1 to 3 p.m. on Nov. 19 for students. Email fasula2@gmail.com for information.
It is exciting to have "Hollywood on the Delaware" as a part of honoring our communities vibrant historical legacy in film making. Much success to you all!
