Where is the Class of 2017 headed?

To the Editor:
In about a month, the new school year will begin at Delaware Valley. Our school board has voted for a school-tax increase, and WalMart is advertising "Back-to-School" specials. But, except for one 2017 grad who will be attending M.I.T., we haven't been told about other proud outcomes of class of 2017.
Why not? Don't we, who are paying for it, deserve to know what a very expensive school district is delivering?
