Looking for a painting

To the editor: I am trying to find a painting that my Grandmother painted. She and my Grandfather lived in a trailer park in Milford for many, many years and loved living there. I have fond memories of visiting them and going swimming in the Delaware River. My Grandfather passed away in the fall of 1994. My Gandmother couldn’t stay by herself so it was decided she would go live with my Mom and Dad. My Grandmother needed to sell most of her belongings because of space at my parents house. There was a painting on the wall in the hallway that she sold for about $25. As I remember it, there were orange, red, rust, yellow and gold flowers in a black vase and the picture was rather dark. I never knew that she had painted that picture until years later. My Grandmother passed away only a few months after my Grandfather. It will be fourteen years this March. It has been quite awhile since the painting has been sold, but an idea came to me to send a letter to the editor and ask the people of Milford if anyone still had the painting or knew of someone who did. My Grandmother’s name was Diana Guenther, but she also could have signed the painting with the last name of Angell or Seiling. If anyone has any information about the painting please contact me at deespike@verizon.net Donna Herbert Port Murray, N.J.
