For Jean Robinson, Milford, whose response to the (Inquiring Photographer) question, “If you became president what would be your first agenda item?” (Friday, July 11) was: “Pull the troops out because no thing is getting done...” What has been done is the dismantling of Saddam Hussein’s stockpile of yellowcake uranium at the former Tuwaitha nuclear complex about 12 miles south of Baghdad. The Iraqi government recently sold the 550 metric tons of the “yellowcake” to a Canadian uranium producer. U.S. and Iraqi forces have guarded the 23,000 acre site since its discovery in 2003. It is a shame that this story was not found on the front pages of newspapers across our nation. This secret operation by the combined effort of our military and Iraqi forces is heroic in proportion. We should be thankful for the effort, and the sacrifice of so many. God Bless them all. Joanne Price Milford
