Santos deal is history

To the Editor: I have been reading the saga of the Santos farm and Delaware Valley Board of Education. Your last article March 2,2007 finally put the deal to rest but I couldn’t help but notice the facts stated in that piece. So the district needs 18 acres for a school, was willing to spend $7 million for the property (we’re not even considering construction costs yet) and they already own 331 acres in Dingman. With that kind of money the district should consider building a High School in Dingman on the property they already own! Lauren Alex Milford
