Who gets tested?

To the editor: Glad you are overjoyed (re: Viewpoints, Sept. 14) that DV drug tests ... did you know they only test athletes, those who participate in clubs, those who desire parking stickers and those who participate in extra-curricular activities ... typically those who would not be abusing the drugs? They do not test all the students, so those that are doing drugs, continue to do the drugs. I would love to see them test all, or at least some of the ones you know are doing drugs/alcohol. Just a random test, like one might get at his employer... no notice, no “time” to prepare, just a surprise test. What about it, DV? Theresa M. Tants Milford
