Christmas carols from around the world to converge with Delaware Valley Choral Society

Milford. Works from the West Indies, Ukraine, Russia, Japan and Africa, as well as various styles, composers and arrangers will be performed.

The Delaware Valley Choral Society will perform “Christmas Around the World Part 3” on December 11 with a variety of carols from all over the globe, including the West Indies, Ukraine, Russia, Japan, Africa, Great Britain, and the United States. Works from notable composers and arrangers such as John Rutter, and Harry Simone are featured in a variety of genres, ranging from the baroque to classical to romantic and the modern era. Guest instrumentalists will join the Choral Society, including organist Craig Williams. Also featured will be the Dingman Delaware Children’s Choir directed by Brian Krauss joining the Choral Society in selected carols.

The concert begins at 3:00 p.m. at Milford United Methodist Church located at 206 East Ann Street in Milford, PA. Tickets for “Christmas Around the World Part 3” are $20 for adults and $10 for students. The Delaware Valley Choral Society is a non-profit group dedicated to performing major choral works in their original form. The Society incorporates aspiring musicians from the area as well as professional musicians to bring major works of music to our community.
