DV Elementary ‘Odyssey’ teams head to states

Matamoras. The state competition will be held on April 6.

The Delaware Valley Central School District recently announced that all three of the elementary school’s Odyssey of the Mind teams excelled at their regional competition held on February 24 and will now go on to compete at the state competition to be held on April 6.

The Primary Team, who tackled the problem “The Night Life,” was coached by Karen Orgitano. Team members include Jameson Morgan, Aubrey McKeon, Shea Collins, Elliot Fischer, Julian Cabrera-Agostini, Harmony Harrison, and Vivian Glover.

The Division 1 Team, coached by Sarah Casey and Chuck Pike, tackled “Problem 4, Space Structure.” Team members include Jovey Thiele, Dominic Delauro, Mia Pavinich, Rachel Pflanz, Jayce Jacobs, Owen Pavinich, and Christian Pirl-Trindade.

And the Division 1 Team coached by Tammy Curtis tackled “Problem 2, AI Tech No Art.” Team members include Bradley Gaa, Adelyn Gamer, Kate Montgomery, Keston Monahan, Juliette Antolino, Maeve Kaiser, and Tiegon Monahan.
