The Jewish Fellowship of Hemlock Farms is inviting first-timers to observe the High Holidays with their community for free. The inspirational services will traditional melodies, contemporary insights and a soul stroll in nature, in beautiful Hemlock Farms, with Rabbi Sami Barth and Rabbi Aura Ahuvia.
The congregation, which serves the communities in the Poconos, will host the following services for the 2026/5786-87 High Holidays as follows:
Selihot (forgiveness), Saturday Sept. 5 with Rabbi Sami Barth and Cantor Jonathan Commisar.
Havdallah - 7:45 p.m.
Music and Message - 8 p.m. Refreshments
Selihot service - 9 p.m. (Prayers of forgiveness)
Erev Rosh Hashanah (eve of New Year), Friday Sept. 11
Apples and honey and Family Blessing Circle and Schmooze - 5:30 pm
Service - 6 - 7:30 pm
Rosh Hashanah Day 1, Saturday Sept. 12, traditional service at Jewish Fellowship of Hemlock Farms 9:30 a.m.

Seder Shofar (for all who wish) 1:15 p.m.
Dinner (optional, $50 with RSVP) at Lords Valley Country Club, 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Rosh Hashanah Day 2, Sunday Sept. 13, 9:30 -11:15 a.m. (option one) “soul stroll”, or traditional service (option two) through haftarah. Rabbi’s talk and interpretative musaf followed by apples and honey - 11:15 - 1 p.m.
Tashlich (casting of sins) approx. at 1:30 p.m.
Yom Kipur
Sunday Sept. 20, Kol Nidre- 6:15 p.m.
Monday Sept. 21
Meditation - 9:30 a.m.
Service and yizkor - 10 a.m.
Study or Circle of remembrance- 4 p.m.
Mincha (including Book of Jonah) - 5 p.m.
Neilah (concluding service) - 6:15 p.m.
Concluding shofar - 7:20 p.m.
Break the fast at Lords Valley Country Club, following the shofar ($30. Must make reservation.)
