Young Life. East Stroudsburg University welcomes new students for the academic year

On Wednesday, Aug. 19 and Thursday, Aug. 20, East Stroudsburg University welcomed over 1,200 freshman and transfer students as they moved into campus residence halls for the 2026-27 academic year. The new students will take part in Warrior Welcome events throughout the weekend that will introduce them to the tools, resources, and connections they need to be successful at ESU.

By Sunday, approximately 2,790 students will be living on ESU’s campus, their home away from home for the academic year. Classes begin on Monday, Aug. 24.
