Some politicians seem to enjoy the title more than the work. Rob Bresnahan is not one of them. In a swing district like ours, he cannot afford to take a day off, and he does not.
Last year, Rob spent more than 170 days in Washington serving his district. He also attended 331 events back home, on top of getting married and trying to maintain the life of a husband. That tells you something about Rob. He built a successful business career before he ever ran for office. But he knows Northeastern Pennsylvania needs someone willing to put in the hours and fight for our communities.
This is home for Rob. He was born here, went to school here, attended the University of Scranton, and built his career here. His family is here. He has said this is where he intends to be laid to rest. That kind of connection cannot be faked.
And Rob is producing results. He has brought more than $70 million in federal funding back to the district for local priorities. He has also fought to protect Medicaid for the seniors, families, and vulnerable neighbors who truly depend on it.
Rob chose to take on the work of representing us. Northeastern Pennsylvania deserves a congressman who knows this region, shows up for it, and puts its needs first. That is why I support Rob Bresnahan’s reelection.
